Hi,
I would like to create a path, make a copy of it muliple times and then edit the original path and all the copies would change as well. In 3DsMax I can do this by creating an 'instance' of an object. Is this possible in any version of Illustrator? thanks |

I don't think this is possible. Just make all your edits first, then duplicate all of your layers. That would be an awesome feature!!

Couldn't this be done as a symbol? Create a symbol, then replicate it, and then go back and edit the original symbol and all will be updated.
