Hey it's my first post... finally!
Wondering what other folks do for distressing images for the garment. I've made my own from various "grunge" stock photos and used the freebies located towards the bottom of this page. I've also printed 100% black out of a laser printer then crinkled it up and scanned the results to make new patterns. I know there are plugins, like the Washing Machine series, that help with creating new patterns, but I prefer the tif/bmp overlay in Illustrator for editing reasons. Anyone know of links to more free distressed overlays? Thanks, Ghengis |

Try using Live Trace in AI. You can add or subtract the amount of distress you want from a texture .tif, .jpg. |
