Need Help Please?

I still suck at trying to use Illustrator! I need someone who is willing to, to recreate the base and cap of this lava lamp, if possible. A couple of years back, I got someone to help me with recreating a silver base and cap and somehow, they used the envelope feature to recreate the base. I still have the file for that one, but I would like to use the same image to create a black base/cap for it. If anyone is willing to help, I would greatly appreciate it. Let me know and I will send the image to you.
