Wondering what the minimal font size is for vinyl cutting? I have some glass bottles that I'm going to use etching paste on to make the bottle look like it has a label on it. I want to get some vinyl cut to put on the bottle before I put the etching paste on it so it will have a clean look. There will be some different size text on the label. What's the smallest size text I can use to set up the design before sending it to be cut?

Also, when setting up a design, so I need to just make one final version of what I want? Or do I need to set up a certain size page with the labels set up in a full sheet?

It'll take some experimenting to get it right, but honestly, it just depends on your machine. Some machines can cut small letters, others can't - what kind of machine do you have?

Thanks,
Josh

I don't have a cutter. I was going to set up the logo how I want it and take/send it somewhere to get cut.

Quater inch is about as small as you want to get.
Graphtec plotters can cut smaller than Roland plotters.
I do alot of glass etching templates cut on my Graphtec.
