Isn't versaworks just a rip program for printing ??   I think that printer/plotter will work with other rips

Since you guys are discussing Roland I thought I could share my thoughts as well. I have a website for printer drivers. I started the website after facing driver issues on many occasions myself. I too have experienced the same issues, download drivers and install them but when you give the print command it simply does not work. Sometimes you can just find the right drivers online and not get stuck.
