Don't know if this has been posted yet. Came across it today. Tried the demo version and worked perfect on one I was having issues with trying to run through a password recovery program.

With older versions of OS X, you used to be able to open a PDF in ColorSync Utility and then save as... This always worked for me until I upgraded to 10.5.

I use PDF Key Pro, although it's not free, it's an excellent product!!
