Hi, I just found this site, and signed up. But how do I post a question and a file like the other posts? I've been in this business for many years, but never found out how to vectorize a file, short of buying a very expensive program I can't afford.

Wecome Dr. M. Just go to the section you would like to post in. Right below the section title in the upper left hand of the page there should be a "New Topic" button with a blue + sign. Click that and it will pull up a page where you name your topic, type your question and attach pictures, files etc.

As far as learning to vectorize without having to pay for the expensive programs, there's a free open-source program called Inkscape that you can use OR you could download Adobe Creative Suite CS2, however legally you shouldn't install it unless you had at some time in the passed owned a copy of it. Either way it's a fully working install.

Thanks! I'll try it. I do have Creative Suite 3, but I didn't know it could convert files to vectors.
