Vectorportal is moving to dedicated server. The site is currently down due to DNS propagation delay. We hope to be back online in a few hours.

yes, unfortunately DNS change time is beyond our control. It may take anywhere from few hours to 72 hours before site appears online again.

DNS varies. It seems the closer you live to the server, the faster the site comes back up. DNS usually takes 24-48 hours to completely propagate. Moving to a dedicated server is so much better!! A regular server, with regular hosting, is shared by a ton of different users. Hosting companies seem to shove them all on one server, your sharing resources with others, if they're not experienced they can cause your site to go down!!

exactly Josh. Shared hosting is great till you reach certain level of traffic. We reached that point and are now moving on. We used to be hosted on GoDaddy for last 2 years and no matter what anybody can say about hosting with that company it worked wonderfully for Vectorportal. No time down whatsoever. GoDaddy is very reliable shared hosting in my experience. It worked great really and beyond our expectations when it comes to traffic load. I never thought shared hosting could handle 200.000 uniques per month downloading tons of files every day. On GoDaddy it worked...
